DICIVAS™ contains Diethylcarbamazine citrate.
Product information
DICIVAS™ is the brand name of Diethylcarbamazine citrate available in various strengths like DICIVAS™ 100 tab, DICIVAS™ FORTE tab, and DICIVAS PAED SYP 60 ml. Diethylcarbamazine citrate is the piperazine derivative anti-helmintic drug and it is the drug of choice in filariasis. It cures microfilariae. It is effective in Lymphatic Filariasis, Onchocerciasis (river blindness), Tropical eosinophilia, and in combination with Albendazole for better results in worms infestation.
Dosage
6 to 8 mg / kg of bodyweight or as directed by the Physician.

DICIVAS™ 100 tab contains Diethylcarbamazine citrate 100 mg; DICIVAS™ Forte tab contains Diethylcarbamazine citrate 150 mg tab; DICIVAS™ PAED SYP contains Diethylcarbamazine citrate 50 mg / 5 ml.
